Redi-Rock retaining systems has been used on this prestigious project for Tauranga City Council.
This project is at Papamoa, NZ is for the Harrisons Cut boat ramp. It involved the installation of a Redi-Rock MSE (Positive Connection) retaining wall 170m long and 6m high. The wall had to be functional, yet aesthetically pleasing, to blend in with the surroundings of this beautiful spot in the Bay of Plenty.
The aim was to stabilize the banks, improve beach access and protect the dunes from erosion. The upgrade included the road reconstruction and a new footpath. It was completed on schedule and finished $700,000 under budget.
